Vilasira Rooms & Wines - Adults Only

The short version: A great location, nice rooms, nice outdoor area, but they need to learn a lot about taking care of their guests, make them feel welcome and appreciated. And a tip: If you don't speak Spanish at least reasonably well then don't bother joining the wine experience. The long version: Vilasira is invitingly located amidst beautiful vineyards and easy to find. The car park is locked: you need a mobile phone to ring them to open the gate. (Why no doorbell?) The parking is in the shade of large pine trees. The big, inviting door is to the restaurant. The reception entrance is a small door on the right. You enter a nice, welcoming area with a reception counter, small seating area where welcome drinks were waiting. The books and displays are nice, and highlight you being in a wine oriented venue! Receptionist spoke English, and check-in was smooth. Our room was up one of flight of stairs. It was as advertised on the site, beamed ceiling, window overlooking the patio, small but complete bathroom. The shower was great: large shower head and plenty of water. Nice fluffy towels. The double bed was large enough, firm and comfortable. The air-conditioning you have to manipulate carefully, but it is possible to arrange the airflow so it does not bother you when in bed. Outdoor area is nice, with seats, lounges and a swimming pool all by the side of their own 4 hectare vineyards. They have a few 'Bali beds' which are nice as they allow you to stay in the shade. (Read somewhere they charge for usage, but we used one without any comments or fees) We were there on Wednesday, and unfortunately the restaurant was closed. Instead we were offered a wine tasting experience, plus dinner in the wine cellars. At €35 pp we had high expectations, but unfortunately was a big disappointment. Yes, we were told the explanation was in Spanish. But we did not expect to be completely ignored by the guide. We were with 3 couples: 2 including ourselves speaking a little Spanish, 1 couple native Spanish speakers. The guide focused 100% on the Spanish speaking couple, ignoring the other 4 guests. --＞ So only take the Wine Not Experience when you're fluent in Spanish! We tasted 2 wines: a rosé and a red. Neither had anything to do with Vilasira! Strange, as the guide did mention there was wine from their own vineyards, but not for tasting and not for sale. Then we were led to the wine cellars where our dinner was waiting. Each couple was directed to a separate candle lit space. This was probably part of the experience, however a pity, as the group was just about coming together in the tour. And the guide disappeared, not to be seen again for the rest of the evening! Dinner was very disappointing, only a couple of plates of cold tapas and a bottle of the same wine we had for the tasting. So for us we felt the whole experience, 2 bottles of wine for the 6 of us for the tasting, a few plates of cold cuts and a bottle of wine was very much overpriced at €35 pp! Break

La verdad que no es para nada lo que habiamos pensado, hemos ido a comer dos parejas y nada nas llegar nadie habria la puerta ni contestaba el telefono algo raro para un establecimiento. La comida muy muy regular,el stik tratar de longaniza lamentable ,el bacalao ponia que era confitado pero estaba seco y frio y asi todos los platos un poco engaño para un menú de 30 € con la bebida a parte y ni un detalle en el postre.

En un entorno entre viñedos, en la comarca de Requena Utiel, pasado Requena y cerca de venta del moro se sitúa un hotel, que hace las veces de bodega, aunque como bien te explicarán apenas embotellan vino con las hectáreas del hotel y antigua bodega. La ubicación es inmejorable, entre viñedos y con largos caminos para disfrutar del paisaje, la tierra sembrada de vides te encantará. pero no solo eso, el hotel por dentro es muy bonito, bien decorado, con gusto a camino entre hotel, casa rural y spa muy mono. Amplios zonas comunes, piscina, zona exterior, interior decorado a base de madera y plantas. Cogimos la experiencia Wine not, con ganas de disfrutar de una experiencia de vino y una cena diferente, y tanto que la disfrutamos. Con el discurso habitaul de las catas primerizas nos dieron a probar un vino tinto y otro blanco de la casa Miracle, ya nos dijeron que el hotel no tenía vino propio, pero tal vez esperábamos más de vinos diferentes con uvas características y una experiencia un tanto superior a la de probar un vino que adquieres en cualquier supermercado. No te desvelaré donde  tiene lugar la cena para que no deje de sorprenderte pero te diré que si has llegado por la tarde a hacer el check in después de pasar a comer por Requena la cena de Wine not te vendrá bien, a base de producto local. Bollo de requena, a mí personalmente me encanta, es un pan con embutido encima. Tosta de sardina, también bien. Plato de embutidos de la comarca, seguimos con lo autóctono. Para finalizar u sorbete, el precio y la experiencia merece la pena.

Une parenthese enchantée au milieu des vignes. Un endroit calme, une belle piscine, une suite bien décorée et confortable, un petit déjeuner bon et copieux dans le jardin, un déjeuner excellent au restaurant, une expérience Wine Not amusante, un personnel et une proprietaire attentionnés. Un bel endroit pour se reposer et visiter la région de Requena.

Piscina en mal estado. Cata de vinos muy deficiente. Explicaciones no relacionadas con el vino. Exceso de tiempo (1,5 horas frente a 1 hora prevista). Por lo demás todo muy bien: el lugar, el servicio, la comida, las habitaciones (aunque con poca luz).

Acudimos al hotel para pasar un fin de semana agradable con amigos, pero el propietario del hotel hizo lo que pudo por arruinarlo. El trato no fue bueno y las instalaciones no cumplieron las expectativas. Habitación sucia, cama diminuta e incómoda, sin minibar ni recepción de noche, en medio de la nada.
